The New Zealand 'After' Retreat Adventure

🚐 Optional South Island Journey

After the retreat, you are invited to continue the journey with us on a magical exploration across the Southern Island. This experience is designed for integration, connection with the land, and shared adventure.


We will travel through some of New Zealand’s most breathtaking landscapes: glaciers, sacred stone formations, wild coastlines, and ancient mountain ranges, while deepening our connection to Gaia and integrating the retreat experience.

 📅 Preliminary Excursion Itinerary

Dates: January 23 to 27th, 2027. 

We will depart together from our Edgewater Hotel in Wanaka, the morning after the retreat ends.

 
📍 January 23 – West Coast & Glacier Region

Arrival on the West Coast to visit the stunning Blue Pools and the iconic Lake Matheson. Continue onward to the Franz Josef Glacier area.

Overnight: Rainforest Deluxe Retreat / Other Accommodation in Franz Josef


📍 January 24 – Glacier to Arthur’s Pass

Morning visit to Franz Josef Glacier before travelling north to Hokitika for a coastal lunch. We visit the beautiful Hokitika Gorge and continue through the Southern Alps to Arthur’s Pass.

Overnight: Grasmere High Country Experience


📍 January 25 – Arthur’s Pass to Christchurch

We will connect to the ancient stone nations at Castle Hill before heading to Christchurch. Free afternoon with optional activities such as wildlife experiences or dolphin watching (not inlcuded, exploration on your own).

Overnight: Chateau on the Park - DoubleTree by Hilton


📍 January 26 – Kaikōura Day Trip

We travel to Kaikōura, known for its rich marine life.
Enjoy a whale-watching boat tour along the coast before returning to Christchurch.

Overnight: Chateau on the Park - DoubleTree by Hilton


📍 January 27 – Departure

Check out and farewell. 

We will end our shared journey in Christchurch. This is where Christchurch International Airport is located.

Accommodation is not included.

For logistical reasons, we intend for everyone to stay in the same place. Depending on availability and budget, we can discuss nearby alternatives.

We recommend booking early, as January is the peak summer season in New Zealand.
